In einer Sondersendungwird sich Radio Dérive heute mit dem Thema Gezi Park und den Protesten in der Türkei befassen. Dabei werden Sandra Voser und Zsaklin Diana Macumba dieses Thema ausführlich mit den Gästen Bahanur Nasya (Architektin, Filmemacherin), Yilmaz Vurucu (Medienkünstler), Isin Önol (Kuratorin und Aktivistin) und Isben Önen (Schriftsteller) diskutieren:

Bahanur NasyaThree weeks ago, peaceful protests against the redevelopment of Istanbul’s central Gezi Park snowballed into nationwide anti-government protests. Thousands of citizens have ever since been subject to immense police brutality by the AKP authorities as a reaction to their uprising. This special feature of derive – radio for urban research tries to get to the bottom of the protest and to explore its different underlying discourses.
